First time on a horse and had a blast, our guides Taylor and Marlee were awesome!! Came in at the last minute and they were able to take care of us. My wife, her cousin and I had a great time with the horses. My horse "Phil" was a beautiful horse! Stop by you'll have fun too!!!
My Dad and I had a great time. I was quite worried, as it was my first time, but the staff was quite understanding. We had an hour ride with a very nice blonde lady (unfortunately I did not get her name) who answered all of our questions. The poor review below is correct in a sense, in that we were given any instructions while on the horse, but since it is a trail ride (and thus for the most part the horses know exactly what to do on their own) there isn't much instruction required anyway. We were told all we needed to know.
We go back every year!! Love this place. the staff are so calm and knowledgeable, such a great vibe and they can accommodate almost any ride!
We took a 2hr ride and it was amazing. We crossed creeks and wandered forests. The path was well maintained, the horse were well trained, and the guides were knowledgeable. We also saw two black bears and some deer!
Great place, the ride was amazing, views breathtaking. The horses are well trained and very calm. A must do while in Waterton!
